Sweat analysis by means of minimally invasive wearable sensors is considered a potentially disruptive method for assessing clinical parameters, with exciting applications in early medical diagnostics and high-performance sports. Electrochemical biosensors are especially attractive because the possibility electronic integration devices. In this article, we review several aspects regarding potentialities present limitations electrochemical sweat (bio)sensors, including: main target analytes their relationships conditions; most usual techniques transduction used according to nature analytes; issues connected collection representative samples; associated, miniaturized instrumentation signal processing communication; machine learning.
